The best pho place in San Francisco! After touring in a cold air of SF, we needed some soup to warm our tummy. The place is quite small but the service is fast. When ordering your soup, they give you options of what type of noodle you want in your soup. The broth is tasty and the portion is huge. Everything we ordered was delicious. Parking is hard to find, so keep an eye on the Street for any open spot.

09/14/24 after touring San Francisco we ended our dinner at this place. Party of 10 and we were able to be seated right away. It was pretty chilly at San Fran so our family ordered Bun Bo Hue and pho noodle soup with brisket and tendon. Appetizers: summer rolls, fried egg rolls, and fried chicken. Place is clean, staff is friendly, and food was good. Check them out. Parking is somewhat hard to find but it's still worth it if you're craving for some Pho. Happy eats!!

Went to visits family in SF & we decided to eat here after coming from the near by park. The ambiance of this restaurant is nice & very clean. The servers were good & inform us a few items on their menu were unavailable while we were dining. The food I got was the garlic noodles with beef ribs. The garlic noodles were super flavorful and had a good amount of garlic in each bite. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The beef ribs were tender & juicy with flavor & the sauce that came with it made it taste even better!

The outside of the restaurant is subtle, I had no idea that the inside of Saigon BBQ is very spacious. The tables are not crowded together. My mom ordered a pho with rare beef, meatballs, and tripe. She liked it and thought the meat was tender. They have a big menu, so I wanted to try something different but also a soup noodle. I ordered the BBQ Beef Noodle Soup. The BBQ beef is sliced beef steak wrapped around sliced onions. The onions inside are perfect but the beef is really well done, much better with the dip. The soup noodles was simple, maybe a touch too salty, so I added more bean sprouts and greens. Some menu items are topped with peanuts, be careful if you are sensitive to cross-contact and let your server know if you have food allergies. I had a nice chat with Nathan, one of the brothers working at this family run business. The food is good, prices are reasonable, and the restaurant feels clean and comfortable, we will be back!

The food really satisfied my craving for pho. I decided to try the bbq beef pho, which I hadn't seen at a pho restaurant before. The beef is wrapped around onions and it was very yummy with the pho and just plain with the dipping sauce they provided. The restaurant itself had plenty of seating and the staff was friendly and attentive.

After a long morning hike, we came in starving and anxious for some good food. This place didn't disappoint. We ordered the DIY spring rolls and pho. The dishes were sooooo flavorful! The restaurant was crowded around noon which was a good sign. It took a while for us to be seated and it took awhile for the food to be served. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our meal and would visit again.

I've been desperate to find a spot for bun bo hue that was comparable to what I've had at Bun Bo Hue an Nam in San Jose, and Saigon BBQ Noodle House hit the spot! I've overlooked this spot on the bustling streets of Irving between 20th and 21st. Never occurred to me to try anything else other than Kevin's Noodle House over here. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted and seated. Open seating, spacious, and a bit more modern interior. Ordered: 1. Bun bo Hue (large) 5/5, spicy, flavorful, robust and rich in lemongrass essence 2. Beef Carpaccio 5/5 fresh, flavorful and packed a lemony bite 3. Bun Rieu (my partner ordered this, felt it was on the sweeter side). I really enjoyed everything I ordered, and can't wait to go back! Great selection of foods, good service and conveniently located on Irving.

First thing: I'm Vietnamese. I was told by an SF native that this place had the best Bun Bo Hue. After my Vietnam trip, I wanted to feel something. I got the Bún bò Huế with pork blood cubes (don't knock it til you try it). This was a flavorful, tangy, deep and rich broth with the citrus-y-ness of the lemongrass aspect to it. It came with fresh basil, cabbage, bean sprouts and lime to brighten up the broth. I also got the Cơm dia with bbq pork. The egg cake was packed with flavor and the classic Vietnamese ingredients. And the Nước chấm was perfectly tart, tangy and sweet. PS: it gets busy so make sure to arrive a bit early before lunch/dinner. The staff is attentive and quick!
